Hey California, NOAA just published theGuide to Leasing, Permitting, and Authorizing Commercial Aquaculture Operations off the California Coast.

While it hasn't gotten any easier to permit an operation in the state, having more visibility into the process can help the public and policy makers better understand the barriers that potential ocean farmers face and the levers that can be pulled to create a viable pathway for regenerative ocean farming.
