The Kelp Rescue Initiative is hiring an experienced culture technician to our kelp restoration nursery Vancouver Island in British Columbia! You would be working with me and we would each be operating separate but highly collaborative kelp nurseries! The position involves active kelp culture operations for restoration (gametophytes and sporophytes of Giant Kelp, Bull Kelp, and understory species), ongoing and collaborative research and development, and field work for outplanting and monitoring kelp forests by SCUBA and ROVs!
