GreenWave's Processing Setup

GreenWave just shared some details about their expanded kelp processing plant including photos and videos of the setup. Check it out!
It's a modular processing line with a repurposed industrial firewood conveyor that feeds kelp into a grinder with clog-resistant gear teeth. The shredded kelp drops into IBC totes you can easily move with a pallet jack between processing steps.
Processing has scaled up from 50K to 250K pounds of sugar kelp seasonally without needing a massive facility. Everything's mounted on wheels, requires minimal power, and you don't need to be an engineer to operate it. Hoping that the new facility serves as a replicable example for ocean farms across the country.
