Winter work

I’m taking some time this winter to make some upgrades on one of our old work boats, “Willa” our 17’ Boston whaler. They are great little boats and known for their seaworthiness but have a minor design flaw, that is the rails have the reputation to be under-built and somewhat fragile. Many of the old timers here in Long Island sound that use them as work boats reinforce them with custom built wooden railings. I’ve gone to work and done the same for Willa.
