CT/RI/ME Volunteer for December 19-23

Hello all! My name is Bob Chambers. Do any farms in CT/RI/ME need a volunteer at any point between December 19-23rd? 
I am a material science grad student studying at University of California San Diego. My research is in bioderived polymers. I am trying to enter the macroalgae biorefinery industry after gradation and I want to learn as much about cultivation as possible before then.
I will be in CT for winter break. Hopefully I can get my hands on kelp

My background was in polymer chemistry before I moved into seaweeds and now help run several nurseries plus develop some cool polysaccharide technology. I'm in BC Canada at the moment but am also looking to go back to New England at some point, and it sounds like we have a lot of overlap in interests.
