Alaska Aquaculture Semester Flyer
I'm reaching out to share our program with the Greenwave Community. Through the Applied Fisheries Department at UAS we run a field-based semester intensive program in Sitka, Alaska that teaches sustainable ocean farming through hands-on experiences in salmon enhancement, seaweed, and shellfish farming. We also teach maritime skills that include cold water survival, skiff operation, and outboard repair and maintenance.
The Alaska Aquaculture Semester is offered every fall semester, and we are looking for interest for this Fall 2024! Scholarships are available to eligible applicants.
