Global Seaweed New and Emerging Markets Report 2023

Check out this new report prepared for the World Bank by the Hatch Innovation Services team.
The report addresses emerging markets where seaweed producers are likely to have the greatest opportunities in the years ahead. The focus on emerging rather than established markets (such as hydrocolloids) aims to support farming outside of Asia.
The 10 markets selected include: biostimulants, animal feed additives, pet food, methane-reducing feed additives, nutraceuticals, alternative proteins, pharmaceuticals, construction materials, fabrics and bioplastics, and credit schemes for ecosystem services.
