Hello fellow GreenWave members,
I wanted to introduce myself and my project, Seaweed Safari - the podcast. Our show is dedicated to exploring the world of seaweed and all of its benefits, including health, sustainability, and more.
My name is Kane and I'm based in West Cork, Ireland. I've recently become obsessed with all things seaweed and delighted to be able to access a platform like this.
As we approach the end of our first season, I am excited to start planning for season two and I am currently seeking guests to interview on the show. If you are a seaweed farmer, researcher, or have any experience in the industry, I would love to speak with you about your business, goals, ideas, long-term and short-term plans, and anything else related to seaweed. Although I'm based in Ireland it would be great to get a feel for seaweed based businesses throughout the world.
My aim is to provide valuable insights to our listeners and inspire them to learn more about seaweed and its incredible potential. I'm hoping that this can help educate a wide audience and increase the awareness about the potential benefits seaweed can play in numerous industries. I love your project! My family is from Cork (I spent a chunk of my childhood in schull) and they are the reason I became a seaweed nerd in the first place. I live and farm in northwest California where the climate is virtually identical.

While our farm isn't operational yet, I'd be up to chat to 1) learn from you as I'm sure you're learning tons from your guests and 2) potentially be a guest at some point if you're looking for someone grinding through the permitting and licensing processes in the U.S.
