Hi All! My name is Anthony, currently living in NYC. I've been an admirer of Kelp farming for a few years now, but I'm finally in a place where I can get involved from an investing standpoint. Would be eager to make any connections in this community!
@anthony_cortese good to see more members in the tristate area. One of the big takeaways from the first and excellent Kelp Farming 101 course is how much development is needed beyond the ocean farmer— hatcheries, processing, supply chain, distribution, etc— all of which really intrigues me as investment opportunity to build and enable this emerging industry.
@anthony_cortese Hi Anthony, I currently live in NYC too. I've been trying to find a kelp farmer around the New York area, like out on Long Island, who could use a bit of free help year round. I really want to get involved with the kelp industry. If you happen to hear of anyone during your offer of financial support, do let me know. Many thanks. Felicity
@anthony_cortese hi Anthony i have a startup kelp farm in Blue Hill Bay off Swan’s Island, ready for first year harvest. We went out today first calm day in a while. I need to get a davit and winch on the boat to harvest. We will be documented by Island Institute. karnamiya@gmail.com Seven Sisters Seaweed
