Kelp farming in the mediterraean

Anyone out there who has experience farming kelp (and shellfish) in the mediterranean? On one of the first slight, during the first course, I think I noted a few people calling in from Greece for example?

I'm based in Cyprus, totally new to the industry and looking to see if I could set up a kelp farm here. Would be great to hear from people with experienve in the mediterranean climate or those who are also exploring this.
