The Local Catch Network and the USDA are hosting a webinar on December 13th about the Value-Added Producer Grant (VAPG) program , which helps producers enter value-added activities to generate new products, create and expand marketing opportunities, and increase producer income. In this session, you'll learn about the entities that are eligible to apply for funding, which value-added products can be created using grant funding, and more.
Proposals aren't due until the spring (read: when you'll be busy preparing for harvest), but early winter is the perfect time to get a head start the application!
