How can software help seaweed farmers?
-
Hi all,
My name is Diego, I am originally from Uruguay, but I am currently moving from New Haven, CT, to London.
I have a computer science background: in software, data, and artificial intelligence, and I am looking to apply my skills to fight climate change. I identified seaweed as a potential path to reduce emissions, and I am trying to learn as much as possible from practitioners in the area.
If you have the time and want to talk, I am always available for a Zoom call :)
Furthermore, I would love to visit a seaweed farm in action (I can offer free labor in exchange ;)). I will be in New Haven on the 8th and 9th of November, in western France in early December, and in the UK until the end of the year. If you are in those areas at that time, please reach out :)
Thank you all for your time,
Diego
@diego_kiedanski Hi Diego, I’m an electronic engineer, much of my firm’s work is about deploying sensors and extracting data. I’m a total newbie to Ocean Farming but figured there’s enough common interest to reach out to you. Drop me a line if you’d like to chat andrew.chisholm@elimo.io
