I'm not familiar with seaweed species that might be cultivated in your part of the Mediterranean, but a few organizations you might check out are: SeaKura, an Israeli company cultivating seaweed in tanks, and Seaweed for Europe, a coalition looking to scale seaweed production in different parts of Europe that may have similar marine environments.
