Seaweed talk to local Rotary Club

I've been tasked to talk about seaweed in our local Rotary club. We have been offering support to a poor island, where I intend to implement a test pilot of seaweed cultivation.

Might there be anything out there, that would serve as a guide, in the talk? My knowledge of seaweed is limited to a one week training and some online reading.

@oscar_ikinya Hi! Thanks for brining this question to the Community. Could you provide a bit more context about the talk? It would be helpful to know what region you are in, and whether the Rotary Club is interested in seaweed, broadly speaking, or seaweed farming--specifically. There may be regional resources and experts who could lend advice. If you could share a few more details, I'll try to provide some relevant links here.

@oscar_ikinya -Hey, I gave a talk to my local Rotarty club and created a pretty generic PPT that you could easily modify to suit your needs.  It seemed to go over pretty well as there is a lot of interest in the topic particularly if you’re near a coast.  I tend to talk a lot so it was a 35-45 minute presentation/discussion but you could easily make it less if you wanted.  Hit me up at mikeonvashon@yahoo.com if you want the slide deck

@kendall_barbery Sorry for the late reply, I hope you get to see this.. surprisingly it's still upcoming. Seaweed farming, as it's a project I want to undertake for one of the communities that my club supports. Anything towards that would be very welcome
