A few words about me: I am currently working as the Director of International Programs at Fish Welfare Initiative where we have founded the Alliance for Responsible Aquaculture -- a collective of fish farmers in Andhra Pradesh India focused on improving their farming practices. I'm leading a local team managing over 70 farms and am really interested in expanding seaweed farming in the country!Before my current role, I worked as a research assistant at the University of Freiburg, Germany, and the University of California, Santa Cruz. I have a good understanding of aquaculture and agriculture practices in countries worldwide and am eager to learn more about seaweed culture to further transition our food system to more sustainable practices!
This meeting marked the beginning of our cooperation with one of the local Farmer Producer Organizations in Andhra Pradesh, India.
