I'm Johnson. Inspired by Bren and co. at GreenWave I had started a Slack workspace for "Ocean Farming" a few months back. Incredibly excited to join this community of passion and practice.I'm right in the middle of reading through NOAA's "An Aquaculture Opportunity Atlas for the Southern California Bight" and can't wait to utilize the latest science, data, and mapping to start submitting permits to start a farm off the coast of SoCal. Would love to connect with anyone else in California to share knowledge, have accountability, support and collaborate!

California is a tough place to navigate the permitting landscape, but I'm confident that with enough consistent pressure from inspired folks like yourself there will eventually be enough momentum to move the needle.
