I'm Josh Bushueff (https://www.linkedin.com/in/jo...), based in Bourne, Massachusetts. I launched a small scale, sugar kelp cultivation projection in the fall of 2021 – primarily for educational purposes – and have been documenting my experience/findings at www.ableoceans.com. I'm thrilled to see the launch of Greenwave's Ocean Farming Hub and am grateful to be part of the community! Happy to connect to discuss seaweed, blue carbon and more.
@josh_bushueff - Hi Josh - I'm Janet from Maynard, MA (about 1.5 hours away from Bourne). I've been secretly stalking Green Wave for about 4-5 years. The hub is going to be an amazing resource. I'm about 4.5 years out from retiring and have been considering kelp farming as a second career.
If you even need an extra hand, I would be grateful for the experience.

@josh_bushueff -Welcome Josh! I loved reading about your journey and the early use of the farm design tool on your Notion blog. Thank you for sharing. Do you have plans to expand your farm?
@lindsay_olsen - Thanks, Lindsay! The farm design tool was a big help, as has been all of Greenwave's support and direction. We're still determining plans for the next season and are certainly considering expanding (at at least one of the sites). This will in part be decided by the results of our water sampling/testing.
