I read Bren's book late last year, and as a leader in a seafood restaurant who's concern about the long-term sustainability of traditional US fisheries and US consumers' seafood preferences, I'm excited about the potential to feed people sustainably from my "ocean yard" while helping improve our marine ecosystems.
My business and its location gives me significant exposure to the complexities of operating in California (mostly in employment law) as well as the California Coastal Commission. I'm hoping that I can be a resource to individuals who may need a sounding board for either.
