I'm haven't found much public information on mineral extraction from seaweed. Is there any good source of how to process Magnesium and Critical Minerals from seaweed, in a small/medium scale operation.

Exploring the academic literature and technical reports from government-funded initiatives may be another approach to finding useful references. For example: Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) has shown renewed interest in extracting critical minerals from the ocean , including using a hydrothermal liquefaction (HTL) process to extract critical minerals from seaweeds. PNNL partnered with Blue Evolution to explore commercial applications of this technology.
