@john_smet Here is the model information from Roylan. The external ballast is supposed to be better for areas with a bit of current, but they can be a pain to handle. Otherwise, the State of CT boating coordinator specifies what type of buoys we need to mark our site. In this case a 12" diameter standard can buoy with 36" reveal above the water line. The boating coordinator also specifies the markings (width of white and orange reflective tape at top of bottom, shape of hazard marking - in this case a diamond, as well as the words and size of the font).
