@jared_temple1229 After looking at the leasing and permitting resource in the Hub curriculum, it looks like there's currently no regulatory process for sugar kelp farming in North Carolina. You should always double check with your state regulatory body for the most up to date information. You may want to look at other aquaculture resources that your state offers as a way to find the right contacts to ask questions.
@jwhis thank you! I’m also curious if the waters would be good for it down here? I really don’t know anything about kelp farming, but i’ve noticed mostly count farming in colder climates.
