@jwhis In my opinion it is far better to live at sea than on land but I too am stuck here. Therefore I am planning on using 4ft deep swimming pools to raise fish and seaweed for fish food and for goats and chickens. Trying to find a good freshwater algae to be used to this end but the real advances will come when we can raise feed algae at sea. If we can raise a feed algae, we could raise chickens at sea on barges. Saves a tremendous amount of money.
@jillian_mcfarland28 You could set up a small hatchery inland using instant ocean instead of actual seawater. You’ll need to make sure you know the rules about collecting sorus tissue in your area and where the resulting seeds can be put in the water. Agencies are rightfully very picky and specific about this to prevent invasive species and to ensure genetic diversity
@jillian_mcfarland28 Just to let you know I moved your post to the hatchery topic so it can have better visibility.
