Last year regenerative aquaculture lost a pillar of our work--Thierry Chopin is widely credited with coining Integrated Multi-Trophic Aquaculture (IMTA) and made enormous contributions to culture and propagation methods for kelp, foundational science to enable the kelp farming industry as an economic opportunity for coastal communities and an environmental solution.
