Hey community,
While refreshing our gear for the upcoming plant season I was determined to streamline a few details making some quality of life improvements on farm. One thing that I came up with is adding a tagline to our Navigation Buoy anchor system. We currently use a 10’ shot of chain at the anchor side to give it some more weight and reduce the shock of larger waves. This however makes hauling them more difficult and ponderous as the chain won’t wrap around our capstan. So I’ve added a secondary tag line zip tied to the chain so I can haul the 75# anchor without having to use a block and tackle or hand hauling.
