Inquiry About Purchasing Asparagopsis Taxiformis Explants

I'm currently launching a venture focused on cultivating Asparagopsis taxiformis for cattle feed in Costa Rica. We're collaborating with the Bio-Entrepreneurship Laboratory at the Costa Rica Institute of Technology to propagate the algae in a controlled lab environment.
At this stage, we're searching for Asparagopsis taxiformis explants. Does anyone know where we might acquire them?
Any guidance or leads would be greatly appreciated!

Here is a list of five seaweed farms or research centers focusing on seaweed cultivation and propagation, including Asparagopsis taxiformis, which could help you in your research:

    1. Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL): The MBL is leading the Tropical Seaweed Farm Project, aiming to design and develop a cultivation system for tropical seaweed species like Eucheumatopsis isiformis. Their research also focuses on cost-effective biomass production for biofuels.

    1. Monterey Bay Seaweeds: This land-based facility in California focuses on growing seaweed for human consumption. They have a research center and might be interested in collaborating on new seaweed propagation methods.

    1. Sunken Seaweed: This organization collaborates with research partners to develop ethical and ecosystem-focused seaweed cultivation methods in the United States.

    1. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Fisheries: NOAA Fisheries supports research projects related to seaweed farming, including the development of new cultivation techniques and assessing the potential of seaweed for carbon sequestration.

    1. Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI): WHOI conducts research on the potential of seaweed farming for carbon sequestration and biofuel production. Their expertise in ocean science could be valuable for seaweed propagation research.
