Hi, I'm Kendall, GreenWave's programs director. I joined GreenWave back in 2017 to create a seed-to-sale training program for prospective ocean farmers in southern New England. After running that small, hands-on program for a couple of years, I realized our team (of farmers, hatchery operators, and entrepreneurs) had developed tools and resources that could also benefit the ocean farming industry far beyond Long Island Sound, and we needed a better way to bring these tools and resources to the world. Welcome to GreenWave's Regenerative Ocean Farming Hub! And welcome to the Community! This is a space for aspiring and experience ocean farmers, hatchery technicians, seaweed entrepreneurs. I look forward to sharing, learning, and innovating with you!
