Introducing myself to the Greenwave Community

Hello everybody,
My name is Luke Gilliam and I have recently founded KMG Farms LLC here in Maine. I have been diving headfirst into the seaweed farm world and I love what I am seeing so far.
I have put alot of time and effort into getting into the site lease application process. I like to think I have a pretty good handle on the process so far. I plan on sending the application into the Department of Marine Resources within the next week or two. With high hopes I like to think that I may be ready to seed out my farm this fall. Of course I understand that is a grueling process and there is a chance I may miss the window for this year. That being said, everytime I look into the community or do any research I learn so much more.
With this post on here I mostly hope to hear back from somebody from greenwave and open a line of communication. I really want to help in keeping track of the environmental benefits of kelp farming. I have downloaded the my kelp app and would love to get involved as soon as I can.

@luke_gilliam5435 Hi Luke, Nice to hear from you, and congrats on finalizing your site lease application! Are you planning on submitting a full standard lease application, or an LPA to start? I've heard that DMR has fairly long processing times for standard leases at the moment. I've just sent you an email to connect in more detail about using the My Kelp app.
