Future ocean farmer - heading northeast!

I have fallen for ocean farming hook, line, and sinker. I am seeking to build community, soaking up all relevant knowledge like a sponge, and looking to relocate to the Northeast and find opportunities to roll up my sleeves and get involved. All signs seem to point to Maine, but:
•I’m open to advice on where a beginner would best benefit from settling in to learn and grow (ME? Mass? CT? …?).
•Are there any apprenticeship opportunities you might point me to? Any notes or guidance would be welcome and deeply appreciated.
A little about me: I am an INFJ Capricorn (empathic sea goat - check), I have a bachelor of science in sustainable environmental design and grew up ‘fishing’ the SF Bay with my Papa, which is code for we mostly laughed and ate packed lunches when the sun would break. My resume will tell you I am a “relationship manager,” but that doesn’t even begin to cover the half. I’m happiest on the water, comfortable at the wheel, and no stranger to blood, sweat, and tears.
I have lived in Texas since 2019 and miss the smells and sounds of the coast more than I could ever attempt to wrap words around. The ocean is my church, my therapist, and my soulmate. I am hard working, resilient, resourceful, and incurably curious. Scrappy in every way. Hellbent on being the change I’d like to see in the world and living authentically with intention, passion, and joy. I plan to learn everything there is to know from the sea floor up and intend to make this my lifelong love and career. Open to all kinds of collaboration and, in addition to farming, also interested in the product development side of things. Let’s gooo…time’s a wastin’! Be well, seashells!
