Save-the-Date Seaweed Report Workshops
Overseen by the Interagency Working Group for Farming Seaweeds and Seagrasses, the report will consider the opportunities for farming seaweeds and seagrasses to deacidify ocean environments and provide agricultural products such as livestock feeds. The Working Group also supports a range of demonstration products which seek to demonstrate capacity for ocean deacidification, or produce feedstock or other products derived from seaweeds.
We want to hear your perspective and hope you’ll join the discussion! Mark your calendars and share this save-the-date with farmers, non-profits, scientists and others who might be interested to join. The workshops will be regionally focused and held on the following dates.

• October 30, 2023: Gulf of Mexico Region
• November 6, 2023: East Coast Region
