Connection Points on the Farm

Here is a simple farm design that created stronger and easier connection points on the farm. We made soft shackles out of Dyneema line. (seen in the picture below) These shackles improved the farm design because they are very strong and not prone to chaffing. The shackles are also easy to connect and disconnect while still being secure. 

On the farm the shackles connect both ends of the 5-line array to the anchor system. The shackles are also used to connect the growlines to the mid-spreader bars on the 5-line arrays. Both of these areas on the farm get a lot of movement in the water and need to have a strong connection to keep the system stable.
