Hi , I am Joy, I am making a startup to help farmers scale their farms 10x with very small affordable robots to monitor, harvest and AI to predict diseases, growth etc. Looking forward to learning from all of you!
@jack_mason@cecilie_stuart we are making robots that monitor the crop, text you if they are diseases or weather events and predict nutrient level, light levels, acidity, within a year they can also to some extent predict yields . So this way you can grow more and with lesser inputs. Our main goal is to help grow sustainable crops and capture carbon from the atmosphere but we also want to empower the blue economy. We are from Oxford and Cambridge university ( UK) but are now looking to go over to the USA with some pilot farmers. If you or anyone you know wants to try out - we are happy to speak to you .
@bob_llewellyn Hi this is very cute ! Thanks..jellyfish- we did not yet consider this..our robots so far monitor nutrient, turbidity, light levels, text you how well ur crop is doing- take pics/videos...soon we will consider adding a harvesting module.
@joyeeta_das Very intriguing idea. I'm interested and want to learn more.
@jack_mason Me too, please post any info you might have, so exciting.

Hi, I have a starter article for you about aquatic robots. An area that has not been covered is dealing with jellys. Not everyone will need to deal with them but if you do, you will appreciate all the help you can get. https://spectrum.ieee.org/jeros-jellyfish-elimination-robotic-swarm
