Timing your sorus collection

Here in New England, we should begin to see the early stages of sorus formation in the next few weeks. If you haven't already, be sure to locate your collection site and method. Check out the first few lessons in GreenWave's Sorus Collection course for some guidance. 
As you approach your collection dates, it's also important to choose your weather. Each site will come with its own set of ideal conditions, but broadly: 

1. avoid high wind days
2. have a sense of the tidal height
3. avoid strong currents and swells
