Looking to develop your storytelling chops?
The Lexicon, the Global Sustainable Seafood Initiative (GSSI), and the United Nations’ International Year of Artisanal Fisheries and Aquaculture (IYAFA) have partnered to present A Greener Blue, a global storytelling initiative to support artisanal fisheries and aquaculture.
They're taking applications through August 15 for an upcoming "storytelling lab" where folks can learn about compelling storytelling and be included in a short documentary that celebrates the critical role of small-scale fishermen, farmers, and other industry workers worldwide in building a sustainable seafood system.
Storytelling workshops can be viewed as communications training: learning how to tell your personal story can translate to valuable marketing skills for your farm and/or hatchery. Any avid storytellers out there?
