Preseason Preparation

As new equipment is rolling into the hatchery, I'm beginning to clean, run, and troubleshoot the system. I have learned the hard way that game day is not the time you want to find leaky tubing or malfunctioning chillers.

Is there anything you make sure to do before the start of the season?

Yes! Check the plumbing connections. If you have to do some new PVC gluing the same precautions apply after your glue is dry, soaking in fresh water followed by saltwater will hopefully leach away any harmful chemicals.
