@tom_guilfoy -Hi Tom, I see that you work for Warringah Advisors and do small business consulting. The notion of an angel investor is often times attractive but in this day and age it might be better if you offered up for information as to what you would potentially bring to the table rather than just an open ended solicitation for business plans. Just my two cents for whatever it's worth.
We actually don’t allow the solicitation of private investments as per our community guidelines. You can read the full guidelines here, but the specific point we’re referring to is:
Don’t solicit private investments – We encourage users to share broad funding opportunities that could benefit lots of farmers (grants, USDA initiatives, small business loans, etc.) but we ask that you do not share private investment opportunities (kickstarters, gofundme, or offers to “fund a farm.”) GreenWave cannot vet individual funders and does not give financial advice. However, we do encourage users to talk about fundraising and get advice on how others have raised the capital to start their farms.
I hope this makes sense. As a farmer-facing organization our goal is to support as many farmers as possible, but we cannot offer financial advice or recommend individual investors. We’re going to close this topic to avoid further confusion for other community members.
