I am a researcher, studying climate change effects on seaweeds and climate change resistant seaweed species for cultivation at California State University at Northridge (CSUN) and, I am cofounder of the California Seaweed Festival. It is great to see so many former and current collaborators here in the Ocean Farming Hub Community.

@janet_kubler -Janet, so glad to have kelp farmer on the West Coast and Local. I am a Santa Monica resident for 10 years and have been interested since my son in New Haven put me onto vertical farming last year. I would like to help in any fashion to understand more fully what it looks like on the West coast. very different from the East coast....or is it? looking forward to the Seaweed Festival in October? could not find any dates.
