My name is Charli Seyler :) I'm a San Diego local but have also lived in LA and Maui. I'm about to graduate high school and have been educating myself on what it would take to operate my own seaweed/kelp farm. I became obsessed with macroalgae in general and more specifically the production of it as a climate solution during the pandemic from Bren's episode in How to Save a Planet by Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson and Alex Blumberg. I want my own farm and am open to what that process will look like for me.
