Greetings from Humboldt! We're sooooo excited that this has launched, such good timing for us. For 20 years I have been a biodynamic terrestrial farmer focusing on aromatic and culinary herbs, flowers, high value produce and fertility (fish + kelp hydrolysate and compost tea). In the past we used foraged kelp for our value added products but clearly that just aint happening for us anymore, we're so excited to be transitioning into growing our own. The excitement is confounded by the fact that were all water babies and ecological farming is the cornerstone of our operation, and while i know im preaching to the choir, it cant get more ecological than this. We are on the home stretch of the grueling permitting process here and hope to have lines in the water just in time for the off season!
@mica_oherlihy - first, congratulations! I would love to talk to you about going through the CA permitting process!! It is so exciting and inspiring to hear that you're making it happen.

@mica_oherlihy - so cool that you are now in the final stretch! Definitely would love to see our entire coastline filled with seaweed lines :). Keep up posted on your updates. I may bug you if/when I get closer to where you are at. I live in Santa Cruz and am a grad student here looking at sustainable consumption. best, Chris
