Hey everyone! I'm so excited for the launch of the Hub and I have already started reading through the detailed courses GreenWave has created. They're incredible!
I discovered kelp aquaculture last year when browsing for a focus for my capstone project as a senior Environmental Studies major at UC Santa Barbara. I developed a mock science communication "conglomerate" called Seaweed Solutions, and since then I have been absolutely enamored with it and have dreamt about getting a farm running one day.
I am currently working for the California Department of Fish and Wildlife as a salmon fisheries Scientific Aide out of Chico, CA. However, I am soon returning to the coast of Santa Barbara and I'm eager to get myself involved in seaweed farming in whatever way I can!
