Seaweed Materials Database

Jonsara Ruth and the team at the Parsons Health Materials Lab have pulled together a fantastic database of materials and products derived from seaweed.

This is really exciting! Thanks for posting. The seaweed and algae derivatives are a very small portion of the materials included in the Healthy Materials Lab at Parsons Design School. That's the rest of my weekend reading sorted, haha!

Related: Materiom also came out with a database in the past year or so: https://www.materiom.org/. This one also has a range of inputs, not just seaweed-based, but good to see how things stack up.
