Spreader Bar to Growlines

On the side of the spreader bar facing the growlines, five metal eyes are welded equidistant apart to serve as the base attachment point for the growlines. Here we use pigtail connectors, looped through the metal eye, with a c link spliced into the working end. The c link connects directly to the growline, which has also been spliced with a c link. Pigtails and c links are critical to this system as they allow you to attach and detach the growlines without having to lift the entire spreader bar out of the water.

The end spreader has five separate growline connections.
Pre-spliced c links make for easy connections between the five growlines and the pigtails.
