Chain to Anchor Line

If you do choose to incorporate chain into your system, you’ll need to attach your anchor line at some point.

Here, you can see the connection between the anchor line, pear link, shackle, and chain. Again, we’ve tied an anchor bend knot at this connection and either spliced or taped the tail to keep it from fouling or fraying.
