Anchor to Line

Another common way to connect your array system to your anchor is to tie the anchor line directly to the anchor without using any chain.

In this configuration, you can use a pear link and shackle connection, which gives you a larger area to which you can tie the line. Using an anchor knot at this connection point reduces chafe and wear. It can also be untied after it’s been under a lot of tension.
