Move Your Spools to Culture Tanks

After the 24-hour dark period, move each newly seeded spool into its assigned culture tank with chilled, filtered seawater. Be sure to wear gloves during this step! You should also introduce low-light conditions and nutrient media at this point. We’ll talk more about those factors in the next course: Routine Maintenance.
