Gear Prep

In this course, we’ll walk you through the steps of sourcing your gear and assembling your arrays. You’ll learn how to splice your lines, tie the right knots, and correctly link all the different components of your arrays. We’ll take you on a visual walkthrough of the single-line and the 5-line array system, and then zoom in on the individual connection points between different components of your gear and how to securely connect them. The goal of this course is to turn the ever-mounting pile of assorted gear in your shed or garage into a correctly configured and ready-to-install ocean farm.
