In this course, we’ll take you step-by-step through the process of when your sorus tissue arrives in the hatchery to the moment you inoculate your seed spools. We’ll review the process of cleaning and prepping the sorus tissue you collected from the wild, how to dessicate and stress the tissue, and observing a good spore release. Finally, this course concludes with one of the most exciting moments of the hatchery season—seeding. We’ll guide you through the final stages of submerging your seed spools in spore solution and offer tips for encouraging good seed settlement.
