Annual Operations :
What you'll learn
In this course, you’ll learn about the preseason preparations and planning that must be completed every year before you jump into the action of seeding your hatchery.
To ensure a smooth start to your hatchery season, it pays to plan ahead. You should do the vast majority of this work over the summer. The more you can have everything in place and ready to go before your operations begin, the smoother your season will be.
In this course we’ll guide you through the tasks of building new equipment, defining your production targets, wrapping your spools, and testing your mechanical equipment. Lastly, we’ll offer some advice on how to make a solid plan to collect wild sorus tissue in the fall.
